Ranked a top 10 firm poised for future growth.
Foley announced today that the BTI Consulting Group has named the firm a “rising star” after a multi-year study of the US legal marketplace and ranked the firm as one of ten firms nationally that are well positioned for future growth based on the feedback from over 1700 interviews with corporate counsel. The study asked clients about their awareness and perception of over 400 law firms in areas such as the ability of firms to provide premium, bet-the-company work, innovative approaches to client service and technology, and their active recommendations of various firms to their peers.
“Corporate counsel see Foley & Lardner as a clear innovator, and that reputation has only increased,” says Michael B. Rynowecer, BTI President. “The firm is seen as technologically savvy and client focused.”
The findings are based on more than 1,700 individual telephone interviews with corporate counsel at large publicly and privately held organizations with more than $1 billion in revenue. Over 40% of the participants work at Fortune 100 companies, with 17.4% working in-house at the Global 500. A majority of those surveyed (almost 55%) were either a General Counsel or Chief Legal Officer. The interviews were conducted over a 36 month period that ended in October 2007.
“We invest heavily in client service supportive technology and in client service tools which enable us to provide client focused and cost effective legal services and solutions to our clients on time and on budget,” said Ralf Boer, Chairman and CEO of Foley. “We are gratified that our clients recognize that our services and service delivery add value to their business and differentiate Foley.”
