Beck Quoted on Noncompete Agreements

Foley Partner Russell Beck was quoted in an article titled “Economy likely to force changes to noncompete pacts” in the March 6, 2009 issue of the Boston Business Journal. Beck provides insight into the use of noncompete agreements by companies attempting to prevent former top employees from becoming competition, noting that judges weigh the employee’s interest against those of the company when deciding whether or not to enforce noncompetes.
