Lacktman Appointed to Florida Bar Liaison Committee by Health Law Section

Nathaniel (Nate) Lacktman, a member of Foley’s Health Care Industry Team and the Corporate Compliance & Enforcement Practice, was appointed by the Health Law Section of the Florida Bar to serve on the Florida Bar’s FICPA Liaison Committee and represent the Health Law Section. The Liaison Committee is composed of lawyers from a number of Sections of the Florida Bar, along with accountants from the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and serves to foster active exchanges and involvement between lawyers and accountants in the areas of legislation, CLE, publications, networking and projects focused on relevant substantive topics. When new legislation is proposed, the Liaison Committee discusses and comments on proposed legislation, soliciting input from the substantive Sections of the Florida Bar. The next meetings of the Liaison Committee and the Health Law Section will occur June 25, 2009 during the Florida Bar’s Annual Meeting in Orlando.
