Noller Quoted on Government Health Care Fraud Investigations
29 July 2013
Corporate Counsel
Chicago Partner Lisa Noller was quoted in an article published in Corporate Counsel published on July 29, 2013 titled “The Government’s Knocking, Should You Be Talking?” The article discusses what general counsel should do when federal agents start investigating companies for health care fraud. Ms. Noller was quoted saying, “A lot of times I find that clients panic when there’s someone knocking at the door, and they stray from an otherwise excellent investigation tool because there’s a little bit of uncertainty at that point. Stick to what you know, what you believe is going to work, and what you’ve designed in a moment of calm rather than in a moment of panic.”
