Groebe Interviewed on Colorado Supreme Court Ruling

Senior Counsel Michael Groebe appeared on a HuffPost Live segment, “Colorado: Employers Can Fire Workers for Pot Use,” on June 16, 2015. The segment discussed the Colorado Supreme Court’s Coats v. Dish Network where Dish Network was ruled within its rights to fire medical marijuana user for failing a drug test. Groebe provided insights on the legal impact and said, “Until federal law changes and [marijuana] comes off a schedule 1 narcotic, employees even in states where they pass medical marijuana laws run the risk, if their employer has a zero tolerance policy, of being discharged.”
