The article discussed a bill in the Florida Legislature that aims to increase access to telehealth services. Lacktman, one of the bill authors, shared how firms can benefit from expanded telehealth in Florida and was quoted saying, “[Telehealth] provides an opportunity for more international patients, which can increase the medical tourism industry. It also can increase presenteeism in the workplace.”
