Lacktman Submits Comments on Florida Telehealth Council Report

Florida Telehealth Advisory Council
Foley Partner Nathaniel Lacktman, Chair of the firm’s Telemedicine Industry Team and Co-Chair of the firm’s Digital Health Group, contributed comments to the proposed telehealth Report of Recommendations by the Florida Telehealth Advisory Council. The Council is hosting a public hearing on the draft report and recommendations on September 19, 2017 in Tallahassee, Florida.
Mr. Lacktman’s comments applaud the Council for addressing meaningful telehealth policy in Florida, and suggest important revisions, including greater clarity in health insurance coverage and payment laws, as well as reduced regulatory complexity and burden for professionals delivering care via telehealth.
