Partner Alejandro Gómez Strozzi was quoted in the La Razón article, “Tratado preocupa más que AMLO:BBVA,” on the uncertainty of the renegotiation of NAFTA.
Gomez-Strozzi said that there are limits to the renegotiation of NAFTA, without affecting the interests of Mexico. “In the case of rules of origin for the auto industry, the current percentage of 62.5% of regional content for a light car works very well because Mexico exports a large number of cars and all actors in the production chain, within the three countries, have worked well with such percentage.”
