Zoals eerder besproken in Foley's healthcarelawtoday, hield het Amerikaanse ministerie van Volksgezondheid en Human Services (HHS) op 18 december 2025 een persconferentie over wat het omschreef als "geslachtsafwijzingsprocedures" (SRP's), ook bekend als genderbevestigende zorg (GAC) voor minderjarigen, en schetste het de volgende stappen.
