Foley Partners Nathaniel M. Lacktman, Myla R. Reizen and Donald H. Romano will be presenting at the Florida Bar’s Health Care Regulatory & Compliance seminar on November 7, 2014 at the Hyatt Regency Orlando Airport in Orlando, Florida. Myla R. Reizen is also a co-chair of this event.
This seminar is meant to provide Florida lawyers and compliance officers a great overview of health care regulatory and compliance issues impacting a range of providers. Health care executives, risk managers and privacy officers will benefit as well. The areas that will be covered range from federal and state fraud and abuse provisions, quality of care initiatives to HIPAA, HITECH, and the Florida Information Protection Act. The seminar will also cover Florida facility licensure issues as well as current trends with physician compensation methodology. Darlene Higginbotham, program integrity director for First Coast, will provide insight into recent initiatives, such as the two-midnight rule.
