Members of Foley’s Cybersecurity Practice and local FBI Special Agent Miguel Clarke will discuss the current state of the world, sources of risk, and common security myths. Additionally, they will highlight best practices for developing a cybersecurity program, including discussing security incident response plans and how to outsource and manage risk through the cloud. They will also review the status of California’s new data privacy law (CCPA) and the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Since cybersecurity is a broader business risk, not just an IT issue, we encourage you to bring along your executive, legal, privacy, and information technology teams for a multidisciplinary discussion on these topics.
