Foley Deal Wins 2022 M&A Atlas Award

Foley & Lardner LLP is pleased to announce that a transaction handled by the firm received a “Deal of the Year” award at the 2022 USA M&A Atlas Awards, sponsored by the Global M&A Network.

The firm’s representation of Webconnex, a leading ticketing and event management software provider, in its strategic investment by private equity firm GreyLion Capital received the “Growth Equity Deal of the Year” award in the small-to-mid-market category. The Foley deal team that represented Webconnex was led by Partner Chris Rasmussen, with significant contributions from Partners Steve Good, Chris McKenna, Belinda Morgan and John Litchfield, and Senior Counsel Trevor Currie.

Since its founding in 2008, Webconnex has helped more than 60,000 organizations process over $3 billion in transaction volume. The investment by GreyLion Capital will help Webconnex scale various components of its businesses, including hiring new personnel, expanding sales and marketing functions, accelerating new product development, introducing enterprise technology systems, and creating new value-add services for its end customers.
