Michael J. Callahan is special counsel corporate lawyer with Foley & Lardner LLP. He concentrates his practice in private equity and venture capital transactions and mergers and acquisitions. Michael is a member of the Private Equity & Venture Capital Practice.

Michael represents companies in all stages of growth in a variety of corporate transactional matters, including corporate formation and governance, commercial transactions, angel and venture capital financings, mergers and acquisitions and private placements of securities. Michael has also advised private equity and venture capital funds in connection with their investments in and ongoing relationships with their portfolio companies. In addition, Michael has represented borrowers in numerous bank and other senior and mezzanine debt financings and related transactions.

Michael’s mergers and acquisition experience includes both public and private company acquisitions, and complicated international and health care related transactions. On the venture and investment side, Michael works with companies and funds in emerging growth areas including clean technology, digital media and software development.
