Allan P. Clark is a retired partner at Foley & Lardner LLP, where he is a member of the firm’s Labor & Employment and Construction Practices. He focused his practice in the areas of construction law, employment law for management, surety law, and mediation. He had been practicing law in Jacksonville since 1967, with major emphasis on construction and employment law matters for more than 25 years.

In addition to maintaining an active law practice, he is also a certified circuit and federal court mediator. His training and experience as a mediator gives him special insights into alternative dispute resolution techniques.

Allan has also been active in community and civic affairs. He has served as president of the Rotary Club of South Jacksonville, president of the Federal Bar Association – Jacksonville Chapter, and president of the University of Florida Alumni Club of Jacksonville. He was Peer Review Rated as AV® Preeminent™, the highest performance rating in Martindale-Hubbell’s peer review rating system.

Allan is a member of the Labor and Employment Law Sections for both the American and Florida Bar Associations, the American Bar Association’s Forum on the Construction Industry, the Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers, and the Florida Academy of Certified Mediators. He is a member of The Florida Bar, and the Jacksonville, Federal, and American Bar Associations. He is admitted to practice in all Florida trial and appellate courts and in the United States Supreme Court, the Eleventh United States Circuit Court of Appeal, and the United States District Courts for the Middle, Northern, and Southern Districts of Florida. In 1996 and again in 2006, he was selected by peers as one of Florida’s leading attorneys. He has been selected for inclusion in the 2006, 2007 and 2008 Florida Super Lawyer ® lists.
