Benjamin B. Genzer is an associate and business lawyer with Foley & Lardner LLP, and he is a member of the firm’s Taxation Practice.
Ben’s practice focuses on tax planning, tax-exempt and nonprofit organizations, executive compensation, and closely-held business planning.
Prior to joining Foley, Ben worked as a tax associate at a large Milwaukee-based law firm. While in law school, Ben served as an intern for the Legal Assistance Foundation of Metropolitan Chicago.
Ben earned his law degree from Duke University (J.D., 2016), where he received the Dean’s Award in Federal Income Taxation. During law school, Ben served as an articles editor for the Duke Environmental Law and Policy Forum and a staff editor for the Duke Journal of Constitutional Law and Public Policy.
Ben earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison (B.A., 2013), majoring in history and political science with a certificate in business.
Ben is admitted to practice in Wisconsin and before the United States Tax Court.
