Dr. Jeff Lomprey richt zich in zijn praktijk op het opstellen van octrooien, zowel in de VS als in het buitenland, adviesverlening, due diligence en ondersteuning bij rechtszaken. Hij is partner in de praktijk Chemical, Biotechnology & Pharmaceutical van het kantoor en maakt deel uit van het Life Sciences Industry Team.

Jeff has been with Foley since 2004, counseling clients across a diverse array of chemical and mechanical technologies. He has significant practical and legal experience in the areas of small molecule chemistry, pharmaceuticals, batteries, catalysts, polymers, electrochemistry, mechanical devices, and medical devices.

Jeff routinely assists clients in freedom to operate, non-infringement, and validity analyses and opinions. He has provided IP-specific legal guidance on all aspects of the due diligence process with regard to target acquisitions and evaluation of third-party intellectual property.

Prior to attending law school, Jeff was a research chemist developing electrochromic materials for automatically dimming rearview mirrors.
