Frank E. Pasquesi is a partner and a health care and business litigation lawyer with Foley & Lardner LLP. His practice focuses on a wide variety of complex commercial litigation cases for Fortune 500 corporations in the pharmacy benefit management, health care, pharmaceutical, financial services, telecommunications, and retail industries. Mr. Pasquesi is a member of the Business Litigation & Dispute Resolution and Government Enforcement Defense & Investigations Practice and the Health Care Industry Team.
Mr. Pasquesi regularly represents public companies in high-profile nationwide class actions and individual federal lawsuits alleging claims under ERISA and various consumer fraud statutes. He also counsels clients on corporate compliance, internal reviews and white collar criminal matters and has substantial trial experience in federal, state, and administrative tribunals around the country.
Previously, Mr. Pasquesi served as senior vice president of litigation and assistant general counsel at CVS Health Corporation, where he held enterprise-wide responsibility for litigation and oversaw a broad spectrum of legal areas and matters, including commercial litigation, government and internal investigations, employment litigation and intellectual property. Additionally, he handled matters involving consumer fraud and consumer protection statutes, securities and shareholder derivate claims, the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act and privacy issues, Drug Enforcement Agency regulatory requirements, and disputes arising from contractual relationships with clients, pharmaceutical manufacturers and vendors. Prior to CVS, he was a partner with Foley, serving as vice chair of the firm’s Litigation Department.
Education
Mr. Pasquesi received his bachelor’s degree in 1987 from Northwestern University, where he was a member of the Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society. He received his J.D. from Boston University School of Law in 1990, where he was managing editor for the Boston University International Law Journal and received the American Jurisprudence Award for Trial Advocacy.
