Whitney Swart is a litigation associate with Foley & Lardner LLP, based in the firm’s Washington, D.C. office. She is a member of the firm’s Business Litigation & Dispute Resolution and the Pro Bono Racial Justice and Equity Practices. Whitney is admitted only in Maryland. She is practicing under the supervision of a member of the D.C. Bar.
Whitney began her career with Foley as summer associate where she worked on cases concerning the False Claims Act, antitrust litigation and heavily participated in pro bono work in immigration.
While in law school, Whitney participated in the Intellectual Property Clinic, where she consulted with clients on their trademark and patent prospects and prepared trademark filings.
Prior to law school, Whitney worked for two nonprofit organizations that specialize in immigration law. There, she helped primarily Spanish speaking clients petition for immigration status.
Whitney Swart constantly sponsors a cat at the St. Joseph County Humane Society where she provides a designated cat with food and other necessities until adoption.
Whitney is admitted only in Maryland. She is practicing under the supervision of a member of the D.C. Bar.
