Asmara Montgomery

Asmara Montgomery is a Law Graduate in the firm’s Business Law Department and a member of the Transactions Practice Group. She supports clients with corporate matters including entity formation, regulatory research, and transactional due diligence. Asmara has been both a 1L and 2L summer associate at Foley, where she contributed to a range of projects across litigation and transactional teams and drafted memoranda and briefs for pro bono matters.

During law school, Asmara was a member of the Appellate Advocacy Division of Barristers Council (Moot Court) at Georgetown.  She held several leadership and advocacy roles, including serving as lead counsel in civil protection order cases through Georgetown Law’s domestic violence clinic. She also taught legal fundamentals to high school students as part of a yearlong practicum focused on community engagement and legal education. Her experience includes research assistant work in critical race theory, and active involvement in student organizations focused on service and legal advocacy.
