E-Commerce Times Explores EU Investigation into Google with Partner Peter Vogel

Gardere Partner Peter S. Vogel, chair of the Firm's Internet, eCommerce and Technology Industry Team, spoke to E-Commerce Times about Google's attempt to settle with European regulators regarding competition concerns.
"The risk of being fined 10 percent of annual revenues is a huge stick to settle," says Mr. Vogel. "At a certain point, a drawn-out government investigation becomes a distraction from other business endeavors."
