Foley Represents Tower Three in Sale of Champions Retreat Golf Club to Arcis Golf

Foley & Lardner LLP represented Tower Three Golf Champions Retreat LLC, a subsidiary of the private equity firm Tower Three Partners, founded by Bill Forrest, in its sale of the Champions Retreat Golf Club to Arcis Golf LLC.

Champions Retreat, located just fifteen miles from Augusta National in Evans, Georgia, began its transformation in 2014 under Forrest’s new ownership. The club, which hosts the first two rounds of the Augusta National Women’s Amateur each year and features three nine-holes courses designed by legendary golfers Jack Nicklaus, Arnold Palmer, and Gary Player, was further enhanced through improvement of the courses to create national caliber playing surfaces, bespoke hospitality, and elevated service.

Arcis Golf, based in Dallas, Texas, is an operator of nearly 70 private, resort, and public golf clubs in the U.S. Its properties include TPC River’s Bend in Ohio, Cowboys Golf Club in Dallas, Grayhawk Golf Club in Arizona, and Tijeras Creek Golf Club in California.
