Foley Represents Square Robot in Series B Funding Round

Foley & Lardner LLP represented Square Robot, Inc., a global leader in robotic tank inspections, in its successful Series B funding round, which closed in November 2024. The funding will drive the company’s domestic and international expansion to meet accelerating global demand for its innovative services.

Square Robot’s cutting-edge technology delivers comprehensive, high-fidelity data of unprecedented quality while eliminating the need for personnel to enter hazardous work environments. These robotic inspections are performed while tanks remain fully operational, ensuring continuous service and reducing carbon emissions.

With the Series B investment, Square Robot will expand its operations globally, including establishing a permanent presence in Europe and the Middle East in Q1 2025. The company also plans to continue innovating its technology, launching a new robot capable of operating in extreme temperatures up to 60°C and introducing its first AI-enabled tools to improve reporting efficiency and data quality. The Foley deal team was led by partner Von Bryant and included partner Spencer Moats and associate Chloe Hill.
