Foley Guides Hampton Golf-Managed Southern Hills Plantation Club in Sale to Heritage Golf

Foley & Lardner LLP served as legal advisor to Hampton Golf-managed entities in their sale of Southern Hills Plantation Club to Heritage Golf Group.

This transaction is the fourth and final property sale of the multi-club agreement in which Foley advised Hampton Golf-managed entities. The agreement also involved the prior sale of three other properties: The Plantation Golf & Country Club, County Club of Ocala, and The Palencia Club to Heritage Golf Group.

Southern Hills Plantation Club is a Pete Dye-designed golf course in Brooksville, Florida, complemented by four tennis and four pickleball courts, a full-service fitness center, and a resort-style pool. Southern Hills is also recognized as one of the Tampa area’s premier wedding and event venues.

Heritage Golf Group is the fastest-growing owner and operator of golf and country clubs in the United States. The addition of Southern Hills Plantation Club brings Heritage’s national portfolio to a total of 47 clubs, demonstrating Heritage’s continued national expansion through strategic acquisitions of private, member-owned, and resort golf properties in attractive markets.
