Wisconsin Lawyer Catches Up with David Simon and John Turlais

Partner David Simon and Special Counsel Turlais were featured in a Wisconsin Lawyer article, “5 Years of Innovation: Where Are They Now?”

The article commemorated the fifth anniversary of the State Bar of Wisconsin’s legal innovators series by revisiting past honorees.

Simon and Turlais were recognized in 2015 for developing Foley Global Risk Solutions, a tool to help U.S. companies comply with the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act while doing business in other countries.

“We continue to focus on the FCPA and anti-bribery compliance, investigations, and enforcement defense. India has become a particular area of interest, as many of our clients face difficult compliance challenges doing business there. The Foley FCPA team has partnered with Delhi-based lawyer Sherbir Panag to develop processes and systems to help U.S. companies navigate the challenging Indian business environment consistent with U.S. (and Indian) law,” they said.
