21 February 2020
Partner Ann Marie Uetz was quoted in the Fortune article, “94% of the Fortune 1000 Are Seeing Coronavirus Supply Chain Disruptions: Report,” about the impact that coronavirus is having on the supply chain for the automobile industry.
Uetz, a member of the firm’s Automotive and Manufacturing Industry teams and co-chair of Foley’s Automotive Crisis Response Team, told Fortune that she has seen reports of customers paying air freight to get parts out of China at a significant cost. “But we haven’t seen lines shutting down here in North America.”
She expects auto manufacturers to continue to do what they need to do to keep producing their most profitable vehicles.
