Partner Vanessa Miller was interviewed by SupplyChainBrain about the substantial challenges that the automotive industry is facing, now and in months to come.
Miller describes a “domino effect” of severe shortages of parts caused by multiple shipping issues, including lack of adequate ocean containers, heavy congestion at major U.S. ports, and the temporary blockage of the Suez Canal by the Ever Given megaship. “We’ve seen a series of events that have continued to disrupt the supply chain,” she says.
