Kaplan Quoted in Law360 Discussing the U.S. Department of Labor’s Emergency COVID-19 Safety Rule for Health Care Employers
18 June 2021
Partner Daniel Kaplan was quoted in a Law360 article titled, “3 Things Employers Should Know as DOL Virus Rule Kicks In,” discussing the Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s Emergency Temporary Standard taking effect and how it will affect employers.
Kaplan told Law360, “That’s got to be implemented within 14 days, and I think many health care locations have seen a reduction in the restrictions on family members and others who visit loved ones in the hospital. And they’re now going to have to [ramp] that back up because they’re going to have to now do screening and triage pretty much at any entry point. That’s going to create, I think, some backlog and some confusion.”
