Partner Laura Ganoza was quoted in Legaltech News article titled “Attorneys See Growing Legal Battles as Key to NFT Market’s Maturity,” which discusses the number of lawsuits against NFT creators, and the underlying rights to intellectual property.
Ganoza, based in Miami, told Legaltech News that she thinks IP law is going to continue to get “more and more refined” in light of these lawsuits. Add added that she believes we are still in the “early days” when it comes to NFTs, and that there are few substantive rulings out there to create a roadmap for entrepreneurs in the industry.
