Andrew Lee Comments on the Ethereum Merge

Foley & Lardner LLP Of Counsel Andrew Lee is quoted in The Block article, “‘An incredible feat’: How the Ethereum community reacted to The Merge,” about the response to the Ethereum Merge, the cryptocurrency platform’s successful overhaul of its digital machinery to a significantly more energy-efficient infrastructure. The Merge transitioned Ethereum from proof of work to proof of stake.

Lee said he is interested to see what comes next now that the hundreds of people who contributed to The Merge have breathing room again.

“Those are going to be some of the most knowledgeable people about the Ethereum network and how it works. All of a sudden, they are going to have time to do new things… I think that is really what is most interesting and most exciting,” he said.
