Overview

Lindsey Birch is an associate with Foley & Lardner LLP. Lindsey is based in the Milwaukee office where she is a member of the Trademark, Copyright & Advertising Practice Group. She provides counsel to clients on trademark, trade dress and copyright law matters both domestic and international, including clearance, portfolio management, prosecution, licensing, risk management, defense, and enforcement. Lindsey provides intellectual property support for mergers, acquisitions, sales, and other business transactions. She also has experience in domain name dispute resolution, pharmaceutical name selection, providing risk assessment and counseling concerning false advertising, providing guidance on branded social networking and legal compliance for sweepstakes, skill contests and other promotions.

Lindsey previously served as a summer associate in Foley’s Milwaukee office. Prior to joining Foley, she interned in the General Counsel’s Office for the Institute of Museum and Library Services and held research and teaching assistant positions at the University of Iowa.
