Overview

Sarah N. Null is a partner with Foley & Lardner LLP. She is a member of the firm’s Finance & Financial Institutions Practice and the Environmental, Social, and Corporate Governance (ESG) Team. Ms. Null focuses her practice on the representation of public and private corporate borrowers, private equity funds, and financial institutions in a wide range of financing transactions, including acquisition financings, cross-border transactions, syndicated and bilateral financings, asset-based and cash flow transactions, secured and unsecured credit facilities, and first and second lien transactions. Ms. Null also regularly counsels clients regarding ongoing compliance with their financing arrangements.

Representative Experience

  • Represented a private equity fund to negotiate a $235 million revolving and term loan credit facility to finance the acquisition of a national provider of fulfillment, construction, and project management services to the cable and telecommunications industries
  • Represented a public commercial printing and marketing company in its $1 billion syndicated secured revolving and term credit facilities
  • Represented a regional gas station and convenience store chain in its $1.3 billion syndicated secured revolving and term credit facilities and $900 million private placement and shelf facilities
  • Represented a multinational energy project developer on a $470 million financing for the acquisition and operation of a microgrid and district energy system serving medical institutions in the U.S.

Education

Ms. Null graduated from the University of Illinois College of Law (J.D., magna cum laude), where she served as an associate editor of the University of Illinois Law Review. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
