Kendall Waters is a litigation associate in the Consumer Law, Finance & Class Action Practice Group, who works with clients across the manufacturing, health care, and real estate sectors. She focuses on consumer fraud claims, class actions, and false advertising claims. Kendall has served as an editor for Foley’s Consumer Class Defense Counsel blog since 2021.
Emerging as a respected advisor, Kendall’s clients trust her to bring value to cases with her keen insight. She served as second chair in a weeklong international arbitration against a major pharmaceutical company, securing a multimillion-dollar award for our client. Kendall also worked on a case that resulted in a successful appeal in the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals, reversing a decision by the district court and allowing our client’s claims to continue. Clients emphasize Kendall’s ability to prepare their employees for depositions and trial, noting her ability to work through difficult issues with witnesses while putting them at ease.
Her practice also includes complex commercial and contractual matters, including commercial dispute, class action, consumer, and antitrust litigation.
Kendall maintains a robust pro bono practice, including working with Inner City Law Center to help tenants with their uninhabitable living conditions. She also works with pro bono clients on asylum cases.
Prior to joining Foley, Kendall was a judicial intern for the Superior Court of the District of Columbia and a legal intern with the Federal Trade Commission in their health care division of the Bureau of Competition.
