On October 8, 2009, Senior Counsel Matthew Karlyn will participate as a presenter on a panel and co-lead a workshop at American Conference Institute’s (ACI) 15th Annual Practical and Tactical Art of the Deal in Software License Agreements in San Francisco, CA.
Karlyn will co-lead a workshop titled, “Master Class on Negotiating, Drafting and Streamlining Your Software Licenses“. This workshop is a hands-on, interactive software licensing seminar utilizing a combination of knowledge sharing, role-playing, and drafting critiques. Attendees will leave with practical and proven strategies for drafting sophisticated license agreements tailored to their specific needs. The workshop takes place 9:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. PT.
Karlyn will also present on a panel titled, “Providing the Maximum Amount of Protection by Enhancing Your Data Security in the Software License Agreement” at 3:45 p.m. PT.
