Partner Roger Strode was quoted in a Modern Healthcare article, “Will Prime’s M&A Momentum Be Stalled By Federal Lawsuit,” on May 28, 2016. The article discussed the federal allegations that Prime Healthcare Services’ turnaround strategy is to drive up revenue by pushing doctors to admit more patients. Strode said the government’s involvement may raise questions among hospital boards looking to do business with Prime. He was quoted saying, “If it’s going to be a choice and they get down to a situation where there are two or three active bidders, I can’t imagine it doesn’t at least weight into their thinking. If you’re Prime, you’re going to have to do some explaining.”
