Adria E. Warren is a partner and health care lawyer with Foley & Lardner LLP. Adria’s practice focuses on advising clients with respect to mergers, acquisitions, affiliations and strategic transactions, including forming provider groups, networks, alliances, and joint ventures. She is a member of the Health Care and Technology Industry Teams as well as the Transactional & Securities, Private Equity & Venture Capital, and International Practices. Adria chairs the firm’s National Women’s Network.
Prior to joining Foley’s Health Care Industry Team, Adria had over ten years’ experience as a business lawyer. She brings a wealth of business and transactional experience to assist clients in the health care industry, including providers, medical device companies, life sciences companies, and health care information technology companies. In addition, Adria counsels entrepreneurs and established companies on a wide range of day-to-day legal and business issues from starting-up through going public, including corporate governance issues, securities laws compliance, tax, and employment matters.
Prior to joining Foley, Adria was an associate at McDermott, Will & Emery in Boston.
Firm Leadership
In addition to her role with Foley’s Women’s Network, Adria serves on the Planning Committee for the Health Care Industry Team and the Cancer Center Business Summit, the preeminent national conference focusing on the business of oncology. Previously, she served on the firm’s national Associates Committee, and co-chaired the Health Care Associates Committee.

Education
Adria graduated from Smith College (A.B., cum laude, 1990) and The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy (M.A., 1997). She obtained her law degree from the University of California, Los Angeles (J.D., 1998), where she was the articles editor for Pacific Basin Law Journal.

Adria is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
International Experience
Adria lived in China from 1990-1993 and in 1996, and has worked extensively with China and Southeast Asia in numerous capacities. She is conversant in French and Mandarin Chinese.
Professional Memberships and Affiliations
Adria sits on the Boston Bar Association’s Health Law Committee, and for the past two years has co-chaired its Education Committee. Previously, Adria served as co-chair (two years) on the China Committee for the American Bar Association’s Section of International Law and edited the ABA’s “Year in Review (China).” She is currently on the board of directors of the Marino Foundation, a grant-making organization working to promote the advancement of pediatric integrative medicine.
