Kate E. Gehl is a senior counsel and business litigation attorney with Foley & Lardner LLP and a member of the Business Litigation & Dispute Resolution and Antitrust Practices. Kate provides strategic counsel on complex commercial and antitrust litigation, including class action defense work. Kate has particular experience in antitrust litigation and counseling, providing regular antitrust advice to a diverse set of clients across numerous industries.
Kate regularly represents corporate clients in all types of business litigation and arbitration. She has also represented clients in connection with a broad range of antitrust and compliance issues, including the antitrust aspects of intellectual property and product distribution. She has significant experience in complex electronic discovery, and has worked with experts to develop reports and testimony, and written briefs and motions at all stages of litigation. Kate also frequently presents on antitrust and compliance issues.
Prior to joining Foley, Kate was a judicial clerk for the Honorable J.P. Stadtmueller, U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin, and worked as a law clerk for the U.S. Office of Special Counsel in Washington, D.C.
