China en India zijn in opkomst als belangrijke spelers in de life sciences-industrie. Beide landen beschikken over een schat aan toptalent en snel verbeterende middelen voor de industrie. Beide landen vormen ook belangrijke huidige en potentiële markten voor geneesmiddelen, apparatuur en diagnostiek, en zullen naar verwachting in de nabije toekomst belangrijke bronnen van innovatie worden.
