Foley partner Judy Waltz, chair of the firm’s Health Care Practice Group, is speaking at the American Health Law Association’s (AHLA) Institute on Medicare and Medicaid Payment Issues conference on the panel “Administrative Enforcement.” The panel will cover the following topics:
- Recent developments in administrative law.
- Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) enforcement tools – payment suspensions, moratoria, and billing privileges revocations.
- Office of Inspector General (OIG) enforcement tools – exclusions and civil monetary penalties.
AHLA is offering CLE credits for this program. The maximum number of credits available for IN-PERSON is 16.1 (including 1.0 of ethics) for a 60-minute state and 19.3 (including 1.2 of ethics) for a 50-minute state. Please note that the actual number of credits may vary from state to state.
