Sara Madavo is a partner and litigation lawyer with Foley & Lardner LLP. She focuses her practice on complex commercial litigation and has represented large companies, small businesses and individual clients across a wide range of industries, through all phases of litigation. Sara is a member of the firm’s Business Litigation & Dispute Resolution Practice, Labor & Employment Practice and Health Care Industry Team.
Sara is co-chair of the firm’s Black Attorneys Affinity Group and a member of the Recruiting Committee.

Community Engagement
Sara devotes a considerable amount of time to various pro bono efforts. She has represented several individuals in affirmative asylum applications.
Additionally, from 2004 - 2007 Sara was a teacher in Atlanta Public Schools through Teach for America.
Education
Sara received her law degree in 2010 from Harvard Law School, where she was a mediator with the Harvard Mediation Program. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Emory University in 2004.

Sara is admitted to practice in New York and before the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
