Partner Ivonne Mena King will participate in The Foreign Corrupt Practice Act: Coping with Heightened Enforcement Risks conference hosted by the Practising Law Institute (PLI) on Establishing an Effective Anti-Corruption Compliance Program and Creating a Successful Compliance Culture on September 17, 2007, in San Francisco.
This program is designed for both in-house and outside counsel interested in gaining a practical, in-depth understanding of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) as well as the legal and ethical responsibilities of those companies subject to the Act and their legal, accounting, and financial advisors. PLI’s experienced faculty of private practitioners and regulators will provide an overview of the FCPA and its implications, as well as the latest enforcement trends, international developments, compliance best practices, and risk assessment and mitigation.
