Lord Quoted on Recruiting Gay Lawyers

Jack S. Lord Jr., a partner in Foley’s Orlando office and co-chair of Foley’s Gay and Lesbian Affinity Group, was quoted by the South Florida Daily Business Review on June 27, 2007, in its article titled “Diversity Reaching Out.” The article explores the increase in hiring of attorneys who are openly gay or lesbian by national law firms. Lord is quoted as saying this helps build stronger client relationships because some clients prefer to work with lawyers of the same sexual orientation.
