E-Commerce Times spoke to Gardere Partner Peter S. Vogel, chair of the Firm's Internet, eCommerce and Technology Industry Team, about the destruction of data relevant to an ongoing court case.
"The federal prosecutors claim they have made copies of certain files, but they have not taken possession of the servers," Mr. Vogel said. "While this may be adequate for the copyright infringement litigation, it is not really possible for the defendants or public to know at this point."
