Ramy Hanna is an associate with Foley & Lardner LLP and a member of the firm’s IP Litigation Practice. He has been part of several patent trials and hearings and has handled all aspects of litigation from pre-complaint investigation through post-trial briefing. His experience includes managing cases and developing case themes and strategies for patent litigation in various fields of technology, including computer software, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, digital video surveillance, soft telecommunications and pharmaceuticals.
Prior to joining Foley, Mr. Hanna was a litigation associate at two international full-service law firms and a premier Delaware law firm known for patent litigation. He also served as a law clerk for the United States Attorney’s Office.
Mr. Hanna earned his law degree from the University of Pennsylvania Law School (J.D., 2006), where he participated in the Penn Intellectual Property Group and Patent Moot Court, and was a member of Penn Arab Law Students, Christian Legal Society, and the Morris Fellows Program. He received his undergraduate degree from Columbia University, School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, where he studied biomedical engineering (B.S., 2003).
Mr. Hanna is admitted to practice in New York, Delaware, and before the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware. He is fluent in Arabic.
