Partner Gardner Davis was quoted in an Agenda Magazine article, “Wynn Proxy Battle Draws Governance Scrutiny,” on May 4, 2015. The article discussed Casino operator Wynn Resorts’ public battle over a director dispute to keep co-founder Elaine Wynn off its board. Davis was quoted saying, “As a matter of corporate law, the fact that the two directors hate each other is irrelevant. They both have a fiduciary duty to act in the best interest of company. Moreover, if they both own significant blocks of stock, their common economic interest should make them work together.”
