International Business Times
Partner Jonathan Moskin was quoted in an International Business Times article on February 10, 2014 titled, “Dumb Starbucks Coffee and Trademark Law: Brilliant Parody or Blatant Infringement?” The article discusses a quasi-coffee shop, Dumb Starbucks, that popped up in Los Angeles and has been enjoying steady buzz on social media ever since. Moskin was quoted saying, “Since what they are ‘selling’ is identical to what Starbucks sells and since they don’t seem to have a clear message, I could easily see Starbucks winning this dispute.”
