Partner Christopher Ward and Of Counsel Mark Neuberger co-authored an article published in Miami Daily Business Review on April 23, 2014, titled “Decision on Scholarship Athletes Far-Reaching.” The article discussed the consequences and immediate liabilities of holding students to an employee status should the Northwestern football players vote in favor of being represented by a labor union. It also explained the broad negative ramifications not only for college athletics, but throughout all colleges and universities.
