Foley proudly hosted an hour-long Web conference addressing the recently released updates to IRS Form 990 issued by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS).
Those responsible for filing an IRS Form 990 for any tax-exempt organization will need to prepare this year for filing 2008 information returns in 2009. This includes changes in reporting governance procedures, compensation detail, tax-exempt bond information, and compliance with IRS requirements for fundraising and other matters.
During this conference, Foley Tax attorneys Richard S. Gallagher, Richard F. Riley, Marsha E. Huff, Lynnette M. Zigman, Michael G. Bailey, and Mark T. Schieble discussed how Form 990 will affect your organization and explained the importance of preparing for 2009 compliance in 2008 and the steps to take to meet new Form 990 requirements.
Michael G. Bailey discussed how bonds are affected by the new IRS Form 990 requirements during this web conference. In 2007, Mr. Bailey hosted the Creating An Effective Post-Bond Issuance Tax Compliance Program Web Conference Series. To view the web conferences in this series, please visit the event pages below.
