The Internet has transformed communication,s and now lawyers must learn how to navigate through social media sites and use search engines to provide proper legal services to clients whether dealing with estate planning, real estate, mergers and acquisitions, intellectual property or related litigation. This webcast will provide specific examples of searching for data on the Internet including Facebook, Google, Twitter and more regarding your clients, parties involved in transactions and litigation and how best to use this Internet data to provide improved legal services.

Gardere's Peter Vogel will be leading the webcast. Vogel is a trial partner at the Firm and is chair of the Internet, eCommerce and Technology Industry Team. Before practicing law, he was a systems programmer on mainframes, received a master's degree in computer science and taught graduate courses in information systems and operations research. His blog covers contemporary technology topics.
