Mexico's emergence as an increasingly important economy on the international front has raised questions of how it can best fashion its laws and policies governing business practices and access to the courts. Class action law and other legal developments leave much unanswered. Should COFECO urge the courts to adopt a price-squeeze theory of antitrust liability? How might the resolution of these issues impact businesses and consumers in Mexico? These and other important questions were considered by a panel of experts at the Four Seasons Hotel in Mexico City on Thursday, Oct. 20, 2011.

Gardere Arena attorney Marco Nájera was selected to discuss these matters among a roster of exteemed speakers. Mr. Nájera has more than 15 years of experience assisting foreign and domestic clients in corporate, mergers and acquisitions, regulatory, financial antitrust and real estate matters. He is recognized in Chambers Latin America for his work in Insurance and Competition/Antitrust.
