Accountable Care Organizations remain abuzz in the health care industry. CMS has issued more accommodating regulations that resuscitate the Medicare Shared Savings Program.

As providers consider their strategic options during these challenging times, they are likely asking themselves how — if at all — should they participate? Each market participant must evaluate different considerations and view points before answering these questions.

CMS also has offered participation in the Pioneer ACO Program, the Bundled Care Initiative, the Comprehensive Primary Care Initiative, and other programs exploring care transformations through ACOs. Moreover, providers and insurers are teaming up in innovative ways for commercial market ACOs.

Please join Foley for a Web conference addressing these and other issues. Our experienced attorneys will be joined by health care industry representatives from the hospital, primary care physician, specialist physician, and health insurance sectors — each of whom will discuss his or her perspective on ACOs.

Presentations will include:

  • Overview of the Final Medicare Shared Savings Program and
  • Accompanying Waivers
  • Primary Care Perspective on ACO Participation
  • Specialist Perspective on ACOs
  • ACO Strategic Issues from the Hospital Perspective
  • Health Insurer Perspective on ACOs
